The Wounds from a Healing Heart

My name is Tenisha Javon Peek. I was born and raised in Salisbury, North Carolina. I'm currently a certified nurse assistant growing as an inspiring author. My writings represent freedom, when life gives me no escape; I shed tears while writing to help rid what holds me hostage in my heart and mind. When I can't let go, I release it on paper. I acknowledge my emotions, whether good or bad, and sometimes it's hard to read over the struggles, but in order for me to avoid reliving my biggest fears, I give myself a message at the end where it allows me to smile because I learned and grew from my past.
