Far in the future all of what's left of civilization lives within a huge mountain. Everything revolves around a dangerous sport: piloted drone racing. It drives the economy. A teenager's father has died, or was he murdered to cover up a dark secret? Forced to grow up too soon, he is in love with a drone mechanic who vows to defy everything to protect him. With the help of his mother, a ranger and a love that can't be denied, he is determined to expose the powers that be and find the truth even if it costs his life. I want the reader to be caught in a whirlwind of emotion and passion for the characters of the story. Jerome Scruggs is married with four children. Living in the beautiful north Georgia mountain town of Blairsville, he was inspired by a dream to write this book series. He believes these books will both fascinate and intrigue the reader with the many mysteries plus cause many emotions such as laughter, sadness, and awe. He further believes that these books, although fictional, will be relatable because of the many things that the characters encounter. The main character was raised by a single, overprotective mom and his first love rejected him but he never gave up on his dreams and defied all to achieve his goals.
