Thelma and the Thunderstorm

Thelma wasn’t always the prettiest tree on the town square. Even as a young willow, her limbs were dreadfully sloppy, and she always drooped. There was even talk of cutting her down to make room for a taller, tidier maple tree. So imagine the townspeople’s surprise when the tangled willow blossomed into a beautiful treasure!
