Today everyone knows someone who either has or had cancer. In December of 2002, Carol Franz discovered her pain wasn't caused by the humidity in upstate New York. It was multiple myeloma-bone marrow cancer. Because she received two adult stem cell transplants to extend her life, Carol will tell you things only someone who has "walked the walk" can.
