Sam has always thought bees were the coolest insects on earth, so one Summer he decides to keep some in his own backyard! He really loves his new bees and cares for them by planting lots of flowers and carefully placing their hive. When Fall arrives though, Sam's bees become quite chatty! Interrupting Sam during his daily chores and even in the middle of the night, they take Sam and the reader on an educational journey into the fascinating world of bees- a journey that also teaches commitment, patience, respect and true friendship.
