Things Every African American Should Know

Things Every African American Should Know (TEA-ASK) is a multipart work of traditional African-American cultural aspects that have been shared, passed down and are important to African-American people. This African-American Cultural Literacy resource is designed to answer the parent, teacher, guardian and student who desires to learn and /or teach the commonly known traditions, customs, norms, beliefs, expressions and facts that have made the African-American a unique ethnic group. These are things that should be known by all African-Americans.
