Thirty More of the Best Short Stories

These little stories are all fictional works originally written for the amusement and pleasure of the author and his friends. Most of them are completely imaginary, although some of them may have originated from a seed of truth. They can usually be read aloud in ten or fifteen minutes, which is the approximate amount of time allotted to each participant attending the periodic meetings of the Beaufort (South Carolina) Writers' Group, under the helpful guidance and encouragement of Ethard Van Stee, the organizer and stylish director of the group. The stories are all unrelated to one another. If the same name appears in more than one story, it is not to be implied that it is the same character. The stories are not arranged in any particular order, and appear approximately as they were written chronologically.
