This is Why

   Sometimes if you get a different view of a situation you can have a better understanding. “This is Why” gives you an inside view of a police officer’s mind in the form of true stories and situations encountered by a police officer. I am a seasoned officer and I will bring you along for the ride in an attempt to convey my mindset. The hope is to allow you to understand what I was thinking so as to have you better understand officers. By the end of the book you will have a better understanding of officers and some of the actions taken by them. This book is not a justification of any officer’s actions. This is just to have you better understand the actions I took in these situations.

   This book is also beneficial to young officers. Perhaps I can keep you from making all of the mistakes I’ve made.
