Nathan had finally reunited with Violet, only to have the off-grid shire he'd started to think of as home viciously attacked by Matthias Branstone and his minions of human hunters. Violet and Thane are missing, and Nathan is on the verge of madness in the hopes of tracking them down and finding them alive.
