Those Who Live in Glass Houses is a collection of four plays with a unique blend of characters, full of the excitement and vigour of traditional African and contemporary drama. It explores a range of captivating themes, from corruption in politics and government to traditional marriage rites. The title play depicts the actions of some Nigerian politicians, who no matter what, must concentrate on enriching themselves and their cronies at the expense of their citizens. In 'Hosting Parasites', a public servant returns from studies abroad to find himself again, lodged in a faulty system. He is engaged in a dilemma on whether or not to join the bandwagon. The protagonist in 'The Sudden Return' returns from the United States of America with his fiance to prepare grounds for the traditional rites of their marriage, only to be confronted by a tradition that could spell "doom", if the proposed matrimony became a reality. In 'A Wife for My Husband', a widow is compelled by her in-laws to consent to a preposterous marriage involving her late husband. Humorous and suspenseful, this collection offers an exciting array of contemporary societal issues.
