Thought

This is a 'thinking" man's book. Many of us given to reflection and introspection often wonder where we as a people, as a race, went wrong and, still go wrong, as we proceed from one disaster to another, anguished and puzzled. Who is to be blamed for our miseries as we lie mired in squabbles and disagreements? No one can say for sure as each buck is passed on to the other. Ashok's oeuvre comes as a lighthouse in the growing darkness, as he gives all readers the benefit of his vast learning and insight, gained after over 25 years experience of deep study and reflection. "Thought" mirrors the author's view of what Robert Frost the American poet called "The Road Not Taken", in his poem of the same title. Dare to be different, Mr Ashok invites us. Of course, be willing to accept without a murmur of protest or regret, an uncertain, insecure life full of discomfort and hardship, often with social or even family's ostracism and unremitting hostility and suspended basic privileges. The rewards at the end of the road, might not be visible immediately but are certain and beyond all possible doubt. For such a life of such handsome deeds will not go unnoticed or ignored, but become the 'wealth of nations'. This conviction is self-evident and the reader will feel inspired and refreshed, and can profit from it.
