Threads & The All-Star Team

If you watch the World Series closely, you’ll notice something interesting. From the shortstop to the pitcher, important life skills are at play on the baseball field. Responsibility, team work, leadership, discipline and more are learned early on, when Little Leaguers are stepping up to home plate and center field. Hall of Fame Coach Peter J. Mulry (one of the most winning high school baseball coaches in the nation) has been teaching these life skills to his players for decades. His new book series, Threads & Friends, is designed to bring those baseball lessons to kids of all ages.

Coach Mulry is a four-time Coach of the Year, who was also nominated as National Coach of the Year in 1976. For five years, he was the head baseball coach at the University of Tampa. The first book, The All-Stars Learn Teamwork, brings these skills to life through a diverse set of characters representing each baseball position on the field.
