"Thy Will O Lord" is a life story of a man from his mother's womb, up to the time the book made it to the print. The author is not afraid to share his tribulations and challenges, his failures and successes, and the constant presence of God's grace, and mercy. There are three threads that run through the book: the God's involvements in the author's life even before he was born, 2) the author's commitment to obey God even though he sometimes makes a wrong turn, and 3) his uncompromising attitude to finish what he has started even when quitting may be more logical. The book is not designed for the individuals who think they might have reached perfection but rather it was designed for those hurting, those that need encouragement, and those on the verge of giving up. It is written for those who are laboring and heavy-laden, with very little reward to show for their sweat. Life is a tough school, in that it presents us with the test first, and then the learning afterward. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. This righteousness that the Psalmist is spoken of here, according to the author, only belongs to the followers of Christ. In Christ, God has made us His Righteousness. We are the righteousness of God, and He, the Lord God Almighty is bond by His promises. Faithful is He that promised. Our God is a Promise Keeper. Heaven and Earth may pass away but His word will never pass unfulfilled. If you are looking for a perfect person's story, please drop the book. It is not for you. If you believe however that there are no valleys too low for God to lift, or mountains too high for God to level, this book is for you. If you believe that God is able to use foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and the weakest thing in the world to challenge the strong, keep on reading. This book will make you cry, it will make you laugh. But, even more importantly, it will help you to evaluate your relationship with God, people, and yourself. It will help you to see you as God sees you and know the Lord our God as He truly is.
