Coleen and Herschel Melton have been married for 53 years and have four children and seven grandchildren. They have been Christians for forty three years and have been actively involved in five separate churches during that time. Coleen's gifts of mercy and evangelism have put her in close fellowship with many Christians. These experiences have presented opportunities for the Lord to use her gifts in poetry to express His intimate involvement in every aspect of the lives of these Christians.
