Tomorrow Is Not Promised

Life is not certain nor is tomorrow a golden certainty etched on stone. Tomorrow is no one's homeland and is harbinger of change. The English said, "Tomorrow shall never come." Tomorrow can free or enslave as well enrich one to a kingly state. Tomorrow is reminder of today and its shortcomings. Many, many years ago villagers help the young to learn to bring worthy future by respecting what tomorrow can bring to oneself and community. Tomorrow is a barometer and leveller of king and slave. An elderly sage told me, "Son, life is marked by tomorrow. Your success depends on your effort to become tomorrow's good, productive, and community oriented person. Strive for a good tomorrow." I invite you to join cause bringing modern medical service to Gambian children and villagers. Deed is what assures heavenly reward tomorrow. I write to raise funds to build Njawara village hospital and hope this ignites strong embers and grains of altruism and a giving heart to the needy.
