Lea loves her devoted fiancé, Doctor Matthew Howell. However, her life is in turmoil. As their wedding date draws near, Lea panics and runs away. She ends up in an accident and is befriended by Doctor Eric Lloyd and his caring mother, Margaret. They take her into their home and into their hearts. Margaret helps Lea find a new way of dealing with life. Surrounded by loving support, Lea slowly learns to have confidence in herself.
