Tracing Architecture

This volume investigates the notion of using archaeology to develop new architectural design and the authors suggest a variant explanation of deconstruction theory. This collection of essays presents the politics of trace and site-making in various cases. The projects examined highlight architects' and theorists' concern with the direct environmental conditions at the dimension of form that could be shown in various cases, ranging from small to large scale schemes.
