Pallye is on the run from her past, pushed by a darkness that hides terrifying secrets. Zek is a brute of a mountain man, as barbaric as they come, is he strong enough to fight the horrors of Pallye?s past The town of Nowhere, Washington is surprised when a slip of a girl, whom looks to be no more than 15, comes out of the woods carrying camping equipment, which looks to weigh more than her. When asked where she came from, she?s mute. No one in Nowhere, WA can get anything out of the mysterious little girl. As the time wore on, she gained more and more weight, people around noticed that she was actually older than they first thought. Her beauty grew as her heath increased. She worked for the things she needed, still not speaking, except to a very few whom she was extremely close to. To the ones she spoke to, they could tell there was terror inhibiting her speech. So when huge mountain man Ezekiel clumped into the diner where Pallye was working, she hid under the table. What Ezekiel wants he gets, and he wanted Pallye. He drug her up to his mountain home. No one from Nowhere would argue with Ezekiel when he wanted something, for he held the purse strings for the entire town. Will Pallye?s past catch up with them?
