CHAPLAIN MARSHA K.C. MONTGOMERY-TAYLOR is the daughter of Minister's Lucille Hunter-Montgomery and Christopher Columbus Montgomery Sr. respectively. She is a sister, who has eight siblings. Under her parents leadership she received her call to preach and teach the Gospel while attending the New Holy Jerusalem Freeway Kingdom of Christ church. She is one of the members of the Gospel singing group, the Freeway Angels. In 1980 she married Mr. Larry Taylor, and through their union she became the mother of seven children, Lashunda, Corre', Deborah, Miracle, Adrienne, Marshanah and Louise (Twinkle). She grew up on the west side of Chicago, Illinois in what is considered "K-town". She specializes in helping people with depression, illness, trauma, and death, through the ministry of teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With the help of God, as the foundation through spirituality who channels blessings which flow through her, she continues to help others with the creation of the, the Marlon Joe Battleship Shelter NFP. This shelter/recovery organization will help homeless veteran's re-enter society with pride and dignity. She is on the advisory board and the chaplain of, Women's Community Leadership Council/Mother's of Murdered Sons. She is a licensed Minister through, Life Center C.O.G.I.C., under the leadership of Sr. Pastor T.L. Barrett Jr. She is currently under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Lloyd C. Brown and Lady Debra Brown of the International Deliverance Center Church of God in Christ. She now resides in Oak Park, Illinois.
