Transient: The Tommy Bookmark Story

The story takes place in the early 1900's in the area of northwest Georgia. It is a work of fiction flavored by the events of the author's childhood. Family, faith and duty guided Tommy Bookmark in his life's journey. He was a farmer, a writer, a soldier and a sheriff. Hard fisted and tender hearted, Tommy fought for a good place for his family to live. He was a transient until he met a farmers daughter and fell in love with her and the life of a farmer.
