Translated from the Original Shark is a year of short stories and poems complied by the author who set himself a challenge: tell a story, starting on the first day of a year, with 365 words. Each day tell a new story with one fewer word until the final story of one word. Briane Pagel lives in Vernoa, Wisconsin. He is married and has five kids, two of whom still live at home, as well as two grandkids. When he's not writing, Briane (the "e is silent and completely extraneous, but honors a family tradition that shouldn't have existed in the first place) is an avid book collector and voracious reader. He also practices consumer protection law in case the writing thing doesn't work out. His previous book is the sci-fi thriller "Codes."
