Tree

This is the story of a seed that is caught in a storm and blown far away from his home in the rain forest. Days later, when he finally lands on a remote mountainside, he finds himself feeling very alone and afraid. But the little seed perseveres and does what a seed is supposed to do. He turns himself into a tree. But in the process, he learns that this cold barren mountainside isn't what he first thought. He finds warmth and comfort where he least expects it.

This children's story for early readers provides an opportunity for parents to engage with their children, explaining the subtle messages in the story around our innate fears of the unknown. And how facing these fears openly may help us to experience life in positive ways we couldn't have imagined.
