Tried In The FIRE

Orlando J. Michaels, a graduate student at St. Dominion University, has been assigned to Choices for Life, LLC Counseling Center to complete his practicum as an Intake Counselor. He finds himself listening to the stories of six adults that have faced adverse childhood experiences, which causes him to reflect on his own childhood trauma. Realizing his own emotions and feelings, Orlando makes the decision to uniquely express himself in a Reflective Journal in hopes of decreasing countertransference. Will Orlando have control over his emotions to successfully complete his project? Or will he learn that he has allowed the experiences of his clients to interrupt his own state of peace? Will he receive a passing grade? Will he graduate? Will he survive this trial by fire? Or will he be consumed in the flames?
