It's Summer 2005. Nineteen-year-old GRAYSON WINTERS is slacking around Rotterdam, New York, when his dysfunctional PUNK ROCK band TROUBLE BORED lands a last-minute gig that could rocket their careers: opening for legendary rockers ANGERFM at the renowned venue GREEN 90, just outside of Burlington, Vermont. Calling on the help of his drug-dealing best friend, NICO RICCI, GRAYSON risks life and love to get his bandmates to the show in one piece.
