Truth Sacrificed

Sam Giancana has limited options. For nearly ten years, he had been living "happily ever after" in a self-imposed exile at an obscure villa in Mexico. There he lived like a king, under an assumed name, until the Feds followed someone from Chicago who led them right to him. Once the U.S. Government exposed his ruse, Mexico promptly deported him, sending him home on the next plane, still in his slippers.

When he stepped off the plane in San Antonia, Texas, he was met by Federal agents who immediately served him with a subpoena to appear before a Senate investigation, the Church Committee. After 12 long years, Sam faces a non-negotiable appointment, an interrogation to answer questions about the Mob's involvement with the CIA in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Sam finds himself drawn deep into a conundrum where everyone wants him dead. The CIA, the FBI, and his own Mafia family all doubt that he won't talk. The information he has to disclose could have dire consequences for many of them. They fear he may reveal the Truth about the forbidden alliance, exposing hidden clues and clandestine events that led to the cold-blooded murder of America's beloved son, JFK.

The notorious Mob Boss can take his own life as an ultimate sacrifice and die by his own hand, or ... he can wait to be "hit," maybe even tortured by any of the three organizations trying to stop him before he can testify. In a battle of good versus evil, Sam struggles for a solution. He is guided to write out his testimony in a tell-all detail with the hope of absolution but a cruel turn of fate interrupts its delivery - for nearly 60 years!
