Trying to be God

PRIDE, the most deadly of the seven deadly sins. It is the reason for the fall and destruction of the Morning Star, the beautiful angel Lucifer and one third of God’s created angels. It was PRIDE that drew Lucifer to try to be greater than God and thus turned him into an adversary, Satan, the Devil himself bringing evil into the world. It was PRIDE to be equal to God in knowledge that was the reason for the fall and curse upon the earth brought on by first parents, Adam and Eve, which has led to the toil and death of all humans since the beginning. Building another Tower of Babel, today we see PRIDE driving extreme environmentalist to believe they too have the God-Power to alter the world’s climate. We have not yet learned that destruction is associated with Trying to be God.
