On a 14-hour flight from the Middle East to New York, 34-weeks-pregnant Dunya reflects on the path that led her to this moment. Despite her dreams of becoming an independent filmmaker, she fell in love with Rahim and embraced domestic life as a Muslim woman. However, her husband's infidelity and the pressures of conforming to trophy wife culture have left her feeling lost. As she navigates her labor pains mid-flight, Dunya contemplates a pivotal decision: to continue as a mother of two, with or without her unfaithful husband, or to embark on a new spiritual journey.
