"The thematic concerns in this collection are multifarious. Exploring the Nigeria socio-economic imbroglio, the book also seeks to address decaying infrastructural amenities, human emotions and other subject-matters as diverse as the colors of the rainbow. Though not much has changed for eons in the Nigerian society from whence the poet is based, what makes TWENTY EIGHTEEN interesting are; the authenticity of voice and novel language that doesn't necessarily make the poet an obscurantist."
