Under Construction

Under Construction follows a young girl named Amira Luisa who shares her life throughout adolescence and young adulthood. Facing an array of experiences throughout the years, she reaches a point of being tired and overwhelmed. Navigating between trying to live her life and being run by it, Amira Luisa reflects on the love and heartbreaks, family drama, and broken promises, and sexual violence and disappointment. Amiratries to look at each experience as a new lesson. A survivor of sexual trauma, Amira tells her story of recognizing her triggers and how they impacted her, her relationships, and her journey to self acceptance.
