Understanding John 3: 16 & John 14:6

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV) John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV) What does it mean to believe? What does eternal life mean? What does it mean to love others as God intended? These two passages give us a message of hope, not only for post-mundane eternity but for right here and now - today!
