Unit of Fire

Develops a Unit of Fire for weapons used in infantry operations, armored operations and airborne operations. Insures that figures used for each weapon are in proportion to each other. Develops the relationship between a Department of the Army and a theater Unit of Fire, if any. Develops the desirability of a direct relationship between the Unit of Fire and the prescribed load of an organization. Also draws specific conclusions and makes recommendations for the use of this term in the future.
