The publisher of London's prestigious Plumtree Press, Alex Plumtree, has gotten himself into another delicate situation. As a favor to the Prime Minister, Alex had agreed to publish "Cleansing", a controversial British peer. But before the ink on the contract dries, publication is sabotaged, Alex and his fiancee are under attack, and Alex's printer is kidnapped. Now Alex has to scout out a deadly censor, to preserve literary freedom--and his own life.
