Bri and Deb have been besties with M since elementary school, but over the past year and a half she's changed. Could her inexplicable transformation have something to do with the company that recently relocated to Jewel, and all those new students whose parents work there? The girls' suspicions deepen when they start dating two of the hot new boys and notice even more weird anomalies. For one thing, the boys' strength and speed seem to go beyond the ordinary. And how can they be totally unfamiliar with onion rings? Or root beer? Seriously? 

The more Deb and Bri dig for clues, the more convinced they are that M has been drawn into a cult that's performing dangerous experiments on their members...including M!
