Unspoken Promises

Unspoken Promises tells the story of Cal and Susan. A couple who lived a perfect life in Niagara Falls, Canada, during the Indian Summer of 1965. However, life takes a dramatic turn when an unplanned and unwanted pregnancy leads to Susan going away and a heated argument with his parents, causes Cal to abandon his family and their family business. Turning to illegal street racing for solace and money, things go further downhill when his beloved car is stolen. Determined to retrieve it, Cal delves deeper into the local criminal underworld, setting off a chain of events that ultimately leads to several deaths and a massive electrical blackout across multiple Canadian provinces and US states. Amidst the chaos, Cal's actions dismantle the criminal syndicate as he starts a new life with his true love and a financial windfall in Sunny California .
