Uprising

Ireland 1594. The rebellion appears over. The forces of the English crown pillage the countryside. Eunan's village is destroyed, Enniskillen has fallen, and the rebel leader has gone into hiding. Eunan is devastated by revelations from his past.

He seeks out his mentor who has retired to the islands of lower lough Erne. Heartened by his mentor's advice, he goes forth to seek out the rebel leaders, and then take control of his family lands and turn them from supporting the crown to declaring for the rebellion.

All that stands before him are the forces of the crown, the deserted ranks of the rebellion and the small matter of his own family.

Meanwhile, Seamus faces a dilemma. His past has also come back to haunt him. He must save his own family and those of his men, but to do so could stop the rebellion in its tracks.
