Upside Down

"Upside Down" is a book about eight serious political, social and economic issues which have the potential, each separately or several together, to push America into the abyss. Chapters 1-8 are issue specific and each chapter has the author's solutions in bold, black print. For example, Chapter 1 is about our current political system, a system in dire straits. As a History major in college, I have been a life-long student of the American political system and have been active in local politics. Chapter 7 is about war and its potential consequences for this country and the world. My thirty-two years of military service and actual involvement in the Persian Gulf confl ict in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, fueled my continued interest in military history a er retirement. Chapter 9 summarizes the book and Chapter 10 is a daily update of those issues which continued to unfold a er this book went to the publisher on December 6, 2023.
