Venecos

In the RAE's Dictionary of Americanisms, "veneco" is defined as a derogatory and popular adjective referring to Venezuelans. These stories propose a descent and a labyrinth of journeys, encounters, and disagreements on shores that become a fractured dialogue. Airplanes, airports, cities, people... small and large stories that coexist with us because they are part of an everyday epic, or a dream worthy of movies. And all this searching, this estrangement, is what can also be read in the inner story of more than eight million Venezuelans who have left their country and seek the next encounter, between epic and dream.
