Venus Reborn

"Teetering between sex and politics, /The end of the world and the end of an orgasm, /Injustice and gestation, /All the things Venus can feel at her core", Scarlett Gray's second book of poetry, Venus Reborn is an exploration of identity of the self and the collective world. Following their debut Beyond Repair (2017), Gray's sophomore title picks up where they left us--healing from the inside out. A few years older (and hopefully wiser), Gray continues to over-share in an effort to make others feel less alone, painting the world for their audience in every light they've ever seen, "the beautiful and the bad and the graveyards of good and evil".
