Our destiny is not in Satan’s hand because he was defeated when Jesus died and rose from the grave. Satan has lost the legal hold over us, and our destiny should not be shaped by our background or family lineage because when we received Christ, we became engrafted into God’s kingdom and family lineage. 

Without an understanding of this truth that we are righteous, we cannot walk in authority and exercise dominion over the powers of darkness.
