Virginia's Own A.Z.

A.Z., born in the 1980s, invites you to his hometown in Virginia, where he learns at an early age to survive by any means necessary. Once an innocent child, his life is torn apart when his father leaves him at age 6, only to reunite with his older brother, who leaves him as well. A.Z.'s hero, his mother, continues to struggle to raise A.Z. and his siblings. As A.Z. begins to idolize the dope pushers in his neighborhood, he's introduced to the drug game during the 1980's crack epidemic and excels fast. The money and fame A.Z. inherit comes with a price. Will he pay with his own life? Or will he survive and make it out of the game?
