Voice in the Wilderness

The question always arises in the face of all difficulties, 'So what if I say or do something. Nobody else seems to be doing anything.' My answer to myself and anyone who asks this question is, 'When I meet my Creator, I will not be asked, 'What happened?' I will be asked, 'What did you do?' I operate from my own motto, 'I will not allow what is not in my control to prevent me from doing what is in my control.' It was in my control to observe, reflect, conceptualize, write and speak and so I have done that. I present this to you in the hope that each one of you will also stand up and be counted. Let us remember what someone far wiser than I said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
