Hope is part of the design of humanity. We were innately
created to desire and to be fulfilled. The uncomfortable reality is that hope
often hurts, especially when the journey requires waiting in faith and enduring
untold disappointments or detours.

Living in the tension of hope deferred requires great
courage. Life presents us all with numerous opportunities to pacify desire with
temporary substitutes or to kill hope and embrace numbness or bitterness. The
wise person will not give up on hope but rather contend for true fulfillment,
no matter how long or arduous the wait.

Using the backdrop of her own narrative as a single woman
trusting God's plan, Casey wrestles with the concept of hope deferred in light
of God's goodness and his promises.

Casey has served in full-time ministry for over ten years,
investing in leadershiptraining, mentoring, and global missions as well as
teaching internationally. She served on staff at The City Church in Seattle,
WA, and in Ventura, CA, with the Generation Intern Program. She obtained a
master's degree in Missiology from Regent University in Virginia Beach.

Casey has a heart to train this generation in biblical truth
and practical wisdom and to see young leaders reach their full potential in
Christ. She also has a passion for food and languages, intercultural
discipleship, women's ministry, humanitarian relief work, and adventure. Casey
currently resides in Jerusalem, Israel.
