Water-rock Interaction

The 380 papers published in these two volumes describe the results of research on water-rock interaction in a wide spectrum of geochemical environments ranging from low-temperature water and mining environments to magmatic and geothermal environments. In these papers, taken from the 10th International Symposium on Water-Rock Interaction, there is a particular emphasis on processes affecting the quality of water resources. Water quality is one of the main concerns that face our society today, both in developed and undeveloped countries, and scientists are paying strong attention in understanding the processes involved in order to minimise the risk and suggest the potential remedial tools.
