We Are Coming Home

We Are Coming Home! is the story of thehighly complex process of repatriation as described by those intimatelyinvolved in the work, notably the Piikuni, Siksika, and Kainai elderswho provided essential oversight and guidance. We also hear from theGlenbow Museums president and CEO at the time and from anarchaeologist then employed at the Provincial Museum of Alberta whoprovides an insiders view of the drafting of FNSCORA. Theseaccounts are framed by Conatys reflections on the impact ofmuseums on First Nations, on the history and culture of the Niitsitapi,or Blackfoot, and on the path forward.
