Webb

   When we first met young Decker Davis in the novel Colorblind, we learned about the struggles of an eight-year-old boy who finds it difficult to fit in. He taught us how to love unconditionally, how to persevere through dark times and to never give up on what is important in your life. 

    A few years have passed now and Decker is slowly coming into his own yet the internal and unspoken pain brought about by the tragic loss of his mother threaten to destroy one of the things that he holds more sacred in his life than anything else, his family. 

    In the small town of Webb where Decker lives with his family, people are good and decent and are accustomed to looking out for each other but the serenity and safety of this small town is about to be horribly interrupted and Decker will be tested by that interruption in ways he could never imagine.
