As a child, Annette-Frances B. lived and breathed theatre, eagerly absorbing weird and wonderful true tales of daring adagio dancers, singers, magicians, snake charmers, classical musicians, spectacular costumes, dazzling scenery and... well, the list is endless. These memories of 1930s to 1950s British variety and revue were shared with her by her theatrical family. She no longer has those loving, charismatic characters around her, but she still has their tales and she would like to share them with you - her readers - in the hope that they will entertain and inspire.
