A systematizing debate in due consideration of legal non-compete obligations of commercial sales intermediaries«: The thesis examines the extent to which sales intermediaries are prohibited by law from engaging in competitive activities in order to protect the interests of manufacturing companies. It contains a comprehensive review of judicature and literature concerning individual sales forms and demonstrates that not only salesclerks but also commercial agents, authorized dealers, franchisees and commission agents are subject to statutory prohibition of competition on the basis of Section 241 (2) of the German Civil Code.
