Kent School's experience suggests that information technology can be used to enrich teaching and learning for both faculty and students. Some argue that computer technology can facilitate learning by enhancing students' ability to experiment, practice, and experience the real world. Others feel that spending money on such technology is not worth it. In 1996, Kent School embarked on a program to integrate information technology into teaching and learning. Data about participants' use of the technology were gathered through surveys, interviews, and focus groups during academic years 19981999 and 20002001. The report summarizes the experiences of Kent School's faculty and students with the technology.
