When Love is Not Enough: The Critical Importance of Knowledgeable Parenting explores various styles and modes of parenting that are practiced in our society and the effect that these have on the character and well being of the children we love and are raising. Included in the presentation are examples of well known personalities such as Michael Jackson, Dorothy Parker, Florence Henderson, Vincent van Gogh and how the way that they were parented affected them as human beings. Most importantly, the book presents a new method of rearing children that is based on consciousness, knowledge of children's ages and stages, critical awareness of the difficulties in our own personalities and proven formulas of communication and problem solving. The hope is that by becoming knowledgeable and educated parents, we will raise healthy, happy children who will, in turn, become loving, productive adults.
