The author of this book uses real life stories (personal and otherwise) to show how each person has a passion that leads to their purpose that leads to a life of fulfillment.  Having had eight professions, she shows how when the passion is ignited and we become aware of it we know that we are in the right place - no matter the profession..The "Baby" that jumps is the idea that is within us-waiting for us to bring it into expression.  How that idea looks is based on our gifts and talents.  She uses the story from the Bible about when Mary, when pregneant with Jesus, visited her cousin Elizabeth, pregneant with John, and the baby John "leapt" in Elizabeths stomach.
